I have a bachelor’s degree in Child Development/Family Relations from the University of Maine and a MA in Early Childhood Education from CU Denver. I have 35 years of experience working with children infants to five years old. I grew up in Massachusetts and have been in Summit County for 30 years. My husband and I have three grown children and we spend our spare time skiing, hiking, and being together as a family. Working with young children brings immense joy and fulfillment to my life. Witnessing the growth and development of these young minds is a truly rewarding experience. Every day is a new adventure.

I have a bachelors in Elementary Education with a specialization in early childhood and I am Nationally Board Certified. I have thirty-four years of experience teaching kindergarten, first and second grades. I truly love working with children and I approach each child as an individual who I help to connect to the world around them. I value the human spirit and the development of the whole child – physical, social, emotional and cognitive. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, mountain biking and paddle boarding. I look forward to meeting your family and to share the joy of learning.

I am so excited to start the adventure at Mountain Sprouts. I grew up in Washington state and received my BA from Western Washington University in Literature. I moved to Colorado in 2002 with my family and started to work in Early Childhood Education in 2006. I attained my MA in Early Childhood Education at CU Denver in May 2023. I love to read, cook/bake, snowboard and hike with my (now) grown up daughters and husband. Watching children learn and grow is the best part of my life.

Ms. JoJo was born in Boulder Colorado, but spent most of her childhood growing up in Bettendorf, Iowa. She has a diverse background in childcare and has spent time as a babysitter, nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, ski instructor, and as an English specialist in Spain. In her free time, she loves to travel, ski, and enjoy the wonderful music scene that Colorado has to offer. She is most looking forward to dance time with her class and seeing all the babies move and groove together!

Ms. Hannah was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and recently moved to Colorado. She is passionate about childcare and education. She has been working with children outside of centers throughout her life. Ms. Hannah likes to go ice fishing, horseback riding and hiking.

Ms. Alyssa was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Her mother owns a home child care center and that is where her experience and love for working with children started. Since then Ms. Alyssa has worked with children ages newborn - 18 years and children who have special needs. When Ms. Alyssa isn’t working, she spends her time hiking, camping, e-biking, and baking.

Ms. Anne Dalton was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from Longwood University with a degree in Social Work. Throughout her life she has worked in childcare centers and is passionate about fostering creativity and the learning in and out of the classroom. Ms. Anne Dalton enjoys reading, baking, and hiking.

Ms. Chrissy has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has experience working with children of all ages in several different settings. Back in 2019 Ms. Chrissy was an assistant teacher at a Montessori school in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she worked with students in the First through Third grade age range. Most recently she was working with students from ages four to 13 in a behavioral management setting. The goal of this work was to help each child learn how to regulate their emotions, work with others, and express themselves in a healthy manner. Ms. Chrissy is so excited to work with your children at Mountain Sprouts Academy.

Ms. Lainey was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and studied Early Childhood Education at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has been working in summer camps, schools, and daycares for many years. Ms. Lainey previously worked at Stratton Mountain in Vermont. Her main focus is her travels and the work she is doing on the way. Ms. Lainey loves music, skiing, hiking, and anything else outdoors.

Ms. Abby grew up in Leadville and graduated from Adams State University with her BA in Elementary Education. She has been working in Early Childhood Education for the last four years and coaching the Lake County Middle School Cross Country Team each fall. Ms. Abby is also a volunteer with Lake County Search and Rescue and enjoys skiing, hiking, and being outside.

Ms. Hannah grew up in Frisco, Colorado. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado helped develop my passion for skiing. Most of my experience comes from working with my mom, who is the director of Mountain Sprouts Academy. When not working for her, I love to ski, hike, bake, and run

Ms. Haedyn grew up in Frisco, CO. I enjoy skiing, hiking, climbing, and reading. I have worked for my mom for four years and enjoy being with kids.
